GLNT Atelier

Last updated: July 28 2026

GLNT Atelier is a collected lighting studio based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We source, restore, and place vintage lighting for private clients, interior designers, stylists, and the trade. This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we handle it, and the choices you have.

We keep only what we need, we use it only for the reasons set out below, and we do not sell it.

Inquiries are read and answered by Bunny and her team.

This policy is written to meet the standards of Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

Who this policy covers

This policy applies to GLNT Atelier and to anyone who provides services on our behalf. It covers information collected through this website, through our inquiry, assessment, and estimate forms, and through direct correspondence with the studio.

The information we collect

Information you give us

When you complete a form or write to us, you may provide:

  • Your name

  • Your email address

  • Your phone number, if you choose to give it

  • Your city or location

  • How you found us

  • The nature of your inquiry, your client type, and your project type

  • Details about your space, the piece you are looking for, your preferences, budget range, and timeline

  • Any image references, links, or notes you choose to share

You decide how much to tell us. Only your name and email are required to begin a conversation. Everything else is optional and is there to help Bunny understand what you are looking for.

Information we collect automatically

When you visit the website, some technical information is collected in the ordinary course of running the site, including your approximate location, browser type, device type, the pages you view, and how you arrived. This information helps us keep the site working and understand which pieces and pages draw interest. It is handled by the platforms described under Who we work with below.
We do not build advertising profiles, and we do not track you across other websites.

Why we collect it and how we use it

We use your information to:

  • Respond to your inquiry and continue the conversation

  • Understand your space and preferences so Bunny can curate appropriately

  • Prepare assessments, estimates, and proposals when you ask us to

  • Manage an ongoing project or client relationship

  • Keep records of our correspondence and agreements

  • Maintain, secure, and improve the website

We do not send automated marketing. If we ever wish to email you about the studio beyond your own inquiry, we will ask first.

Consent

By submitting a form or writing to us, you are giving your consent for GLNT Atelier to collect and use the information you provide for the purposes described above.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual limits and reasonable notice. To do so, contact us using the details at the end of this policy. If you withdraw consent, we may no longer be able to respond to your inquiry or continue a project.

What we do not do

To be clear about the things we will never do with your information:

  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information

  • We do not use it for advertising or share it with advertisers

  • We do not track you across other websites

  • We do not make automated decisions about you

  • We do not collect payment card details through this website. Any invoicing or payment is arranged with you directly

Who we work with

We use a small number of trusted service providers to run the website and its forms. They process information on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service:

  • Wix, which hosts the website and provides basic site analytics

  • Netlify, which receives and stores submissions from our inquiry, assessment, and estimate forms

  • Email and calendar tools that the studio uses to correspond with you and manage projects

We share your information with these providers only to operate the site and to communicate with you. We do not permit them to use it for their own purposes.

Storage outside Canada

The providers above store and process information on servers located outside Canada, including in the United States. This means your information may be subject to the laws of the country where it is stored, including lawful access by courts and authorities in that country. By using this website and its forms, you acknowledge that your information may be processed outside Canada. If you would prefer to share your details another way, you are welcome to contact the studio directly instead of using the forms.

How long we keep it

We keep your information for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry and, where a relationship or project follows, for as long as needed to manage it and to meet our record-keeping and legal obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove anything that could identify you. You may ask us to delete your information at any time, and we will do so unless we are required to keep it.

How we protect it

We take reasonable steps to protect your information against loss, theft, and unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. This includes limiting who can see it, using reputable providers, and keeping our accounts secured. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we treat your information with care and discretion.

Your rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you

  • Correct it if it is inaccurate or incomplete

  • Withdraw consent to our use of it, subject to legal or contractual limits

  • Ask us to delete it, subject to any records we are required to keep

To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will respond within the timelines set by law. Under Alberta's PIPA, we will respond to an access request within 45 days. We may need to confirm your identity before we act on a request.

Cookies

The website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function and that help us understand how the site is used. You can control or clear cookies through your browser settings. If a cookie banner appears when you visit, you can set your preferences there. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Links and social media

The website and our correspondence may include links to other sites, such as our Instagram. Those sites are governed by their own privacy policies, not this one. When you interact with GLNT on a social platform, the platform's terms and privacy policy apply to that interaction.

Children

This website and the studio's services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the date at the top. The version posted here is the current one. Significant changes will be noted clearly.
